This project will comprise of a boat that makes direct use of the sun’s energy, has a power to weight ratio of 1.5 W/lb (based off the previous CSUS Teams 1 W/lb goal), and is no more than 20 feet long and 8 feet wide. The boat is to then demonstrate these constraints in a race against other Solar Powered boats in the 2020 SMUD Solar Regatta.
